Project Overview
CarTopper is a real-time digital out-of-home advertising platform displaying geo-fenced content on top of ride-share vehicles, with a custom geo-fence identifier engine and over-the-air updates.
The Challenge
Dynamic Solutions wanted to turn ride-share vehicles into a real-time digital out-of-home medium — but generic geofencing was not precise enough to control which ads played in which neighbourhood, and remote management at fleet scale was a technical problem on its own.
Our Approach
We engineered CarTopper as an end-to-end platform: vehicle-mounted display hardware paired with a custom geo-fence Identifier Engine that pinpoints the precise polygon a vehicle is in. The platform serves ads tuned to time, demographic, and audience attributes, manages the entire vehicle fleet remotely, and pushes over-the-air software updates so devices are never out of date. The advertising revenue is shared across stakeholders, keeping driver engagement high. The geofencing decision layer is precisely the kind of structured spatial intelligence today's AI-driven OOH platforms extend.
The Outcome
CarTopper turned a fleet of ride-share vehicles into a controllable, geo-targeted DOOH network with remote management, predictable monetisation, and structured advertiser controls.
