HawkVue is a critical-plant monitoring platform for Oil & Gas operations, recording per-second instrument readings as images and producing hourly video archives for root-cause analysis after incidents.
The Challenge
In critical Oil & Gas operations, post-incident root-cause analysis is often blocked by the simple fact that no one was looking at the indicators at the moment of failure. HawkVue needed a system that captured every instrument's state continuously, so investigators could reconstruct what happened second by second.
Our Approach
We built HawkVue to interface with plant indicators and record per-second readings as images, stitched into hourly video archives. After an incident, investigators rewind to the exact moment and read every indicator that mattered — turning post-mortems from speculation into a frame-by-frame review. The structured time-series instrumentation data is precisely the substrate today's AI-driven industrial anomaly detection systems extend.
The Outcome
Operators gained a forensic-grade record of plant operations, accelerating root-cause analysis after incidents and supporting compliance and insurance review with verifiable evidence.
