The Challenge
Over the Wall's private equity clients were managing complex M&A deals across email threads, shared drives, and ad-hoc spreadsheets. Document access was inconsistent, version history was lost, and milestones drifted because no party had a single view of where a deal actually stood.
Our Approach
We built a dedicated M&A deal-management product. Each deal was modelled as a structured workspace with role-based document access for sell-side, buy-side, advisors, and legal counsel. The platform handled secure document uploads, granular access control, deal notes, revision tracking, task assignment, and milestone definition — the kind of structured operational data layer that intelligent deal-flow systems now build on top of.
The Outcome
Deal teams replaced their fragmented stack with a single, auditable platform. Compliance overhead dropped, milestone slippage became visible, and confidential information was no longer flowing through unmanaged channels.
