A flexible assessment platform for recruiters, colleges, and job seekers, supporting psychometric, quantitative, and qualitative assessments with configurable question banks, multi-format answers, and a recruiter analytics engine.
The Challenge
RankSkills needed a single portal serving three very different audiences — recruiters defining assessments, colleges evaluating cohorts, and individual job seekers paying for assessment access — without compromising flexibility or reporting depth in any of the three.
Our Approach
We built a configurable assessment engine supporting psychometric, quantitative, and qualitative tests. Question banks could be custom or randomised from a common pool by language and type. Answer formats included multi-select, single-select, text, and image. Job seekers purchased individual assessments or bundles online; recruiters consumed structured analytical reports to filter candidates. The structured assessment data layer is precisely the substrate today's AI-driven skill-matching systems extend.
The Outcome
RankSkills served three audiences from one platform, with assessment configurability that competing tools could not match — and recruiter analytics that turned raw scores into hiring decisions.
