A vehicle-tracking platform for auto body shops that monitors each vehicle's progress through repair sections in real time, alerting staff and owners when stages run beyond stipulated time.
The Challenge
Auto body shops were drowning in stalled vehicles — each one stuck mid-process in one section or another, with no real-time visibility for staff or owners. Pile-ups became normal, and turnaround degraded across the workshop.
Our Approach
We built VehicleTRX as a workshop tracking platform. On intake, the system maps the sections the vehicle must move through based on its condition. Each section logs progress; if a vehicle exceeds its stipulated time at any stage, the platform raises alerts to staff and sends progress updates to the owner. The structured workflow data layer is precisely the substrate today's AI-driven shop-floor optimisation tools extend.
The Outcome
Body shops gained real-time visibility on every vehicle, cut stage-level delays through proactive alerts, and improved customer satisfaction with structured progress communication.
